Welcome and thank you for considering Waverley College for your son’s education.
At Waverley, we strive to empower students to reach their potential. As Principal, I believe that it is our responsibility to partner with you in supporting your son to grow intellectually, socially, culturally, physically and spiritually.
The College was founded in 1903 and we are proud to be a school that is unique in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs for our genuinely inclusive community, and our holistic and innovative approach to educating Years 5 to 12.
Today, we are a dual-campus school accommodating over 1,400 students and a member of Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) – a group of 48 schools with over 35,000 students across Australia.
Education at Waverley is guided by the four EREA Touchstones: Liberating Education, Gospel Spirituality, Inclusive Community and Justice & Solidarity. The Waverley student is a young man of faith and integrity.
Above all, he lives by the College motto, Virtus Sola Nobilitat (‘Virtue is its own reward’). I warmly invite you to explore our campus and take a look at our outstanding facilities, which enhance the Waverley learning experience.
We look forward to showing you around.
Mr Graham Leddie, Principal
