Waverley College Cadet Unit Ceremonial Parade, Queens Park
This invitation is open to families and friends of the Waverley College cadets. All cadets must participate.
It is the official Ceremonial of the Unit and features the Trooping of the Flags presented at the Centenary Parade. The Graduating Cadets of 2017 will also be farewelled at the Parade.
Members of the Armed Forces are requested to wear uniform and decorations. Visitors should note that jeans and shorts are inappropriate. Because seating is not under cover it is advisable to bring a hat and to use a sunblock cream. In the event of wet weather an umbrella is advisable.
Parking is difficult in the area around Queens Park. Please respect the amenity of local residents. As the Sydney Running Festival is scheduled for that day, please allow more time to reach Queens Park due to road closures.
