The Australian Catholic Youth Festival will launch the Year of Youth 2018, celebrating ten years on from Sydney hosting World Youth Day in 2008.
The 2017 Festival will be held at Sydney Olympic Park with venues including Sydney Show Grounds and Qudos Bank Arena.
The closing mass of the Festival will take place in The Domain.
The Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, have made arrangements with The Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust to secure the harbour-side venue. The Mass in the Domain will be an open event for families and others to join in and a highlight to the closing of the Festival.

Young people under the age of 18 cannot register as an individual and must be registered as part of a group and be supervised by a group coordinator.

Potential volunteers must express interest with the hosting diocese and meet local and festival requirements (policies) before being appointed an official volunteer.
