Annual Walkathon for Charity
Queens Park: 8.45am start
In 1989, Mrs Helen Newman, the then Principal of the Junior School, began a tradition by organising a walkathon to aid a charity which was helping children suffering from cancer. The Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund (now Redkite) was the first beneficiary of our annual walkathon and one which we have continually supported for the past 28 years.

Over the last twelve years the boys from the Junior School have raised nearly half a million dollars with more than 15 different charities being beneficiaries of this good work. This year the money that is raised will once again be donated to charity.
We will support seven different groups
Our three main charities receiving 25% each of the money raised are:
The remaining 25% is divided among
Helpers are vital for the success of the day. If you can assist with cash donations or prizes, or help on the day on a checkpoint, barbeque or collation of forms, please complete the 2016 Walkathon form and return it to the school.
