To commence the year, our Wellbeing Mentors will be available for interviews with every student and their parents/carers.
On Monday 26 February from 1.30pm to 4.30pm parents and guardians are invited to meet with their son’s Wellbeing Mentor in the Lacey Gymnasium to engage in a conversation which will help us to best cater for their needs during 2018.
This is an important initiative which supports our student wellbeing program and we urge you to make time to attend. The purpose is to know as much as possible about each student, both in and out of the classroom. By identifying their goals, hopes, dreams and aspirations for the future we can work together to bring about the best possible learning outcomes for each individual. Our aim is to achieve a ‘trio of care’ formed between the school, the family and the individual. Together is better.
These meetings are in addition to parent/teacher academic interviews which will also take place later in the semester.
Students in Years 7-12 will be dismissed at 1.00pm because it is expected that students will attend these meetings with their parents. Limited supervision will be provided in the library and in the Centenary Quad from 1.00pm until the usual school finishing time.
Heads of House and our Student Counsellors will also be available to meet any students and families who may require additional support and assistance, please email them directly if you wish to pre-book an appointment.
