Waverley College’s secondhand clothing pool is coordinated by the Waverley College Parents’ Association and staffed by volunteers.
The Clothing Pool sells quality secondhand garments priced at around half the price of new garments. It operates solely on the generous donation by our families of out-grown and unused uniform items. These include blazers, winter and summer uniform pieces, sports uniform items as well as bags, football boots, black shoes and sports shoes.
Senior and Junior School blazers are the only items considered for sale by consignment and must be in good condition.
All donations are appreciated and may be left in bags at the front door of the Clothing Pool.
Proceeds from the sale of garments are donated back to the College.
Before visiting, please contact us at the secondhand clothing pool to ensure the clothing pool is open. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, our Mothers’ Club volunteers may be unable to open the Clothing Pool.
Payment is by cash or cheque in store. Credit card payments are now accepted.
The Clothing Pool is run by the Parents’ Association and volunteers are sought to assist in the running of the shop. Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents and help raise funds for the College.
Please contact the Clothing Pool Coordinators Sandy Templeton-Martin or Patsy Thompson for further information.
