Our Aquatic Centre is a facility that is available for the whole community to enjoy. We run comprehensive swim school programs for all age ranges, from preschool-aged children upwards, through to adults.

Your child will need to have a swimming assessment at enrolment.
When is the Swim School open?
The swim school operates throughout the summer months, commencing at the start of Term 4 and and concluding at the end of Term 1. There is a break in normal afternoon classes and squads over the Christmas period with four weeks of intensive swim classes (at the Learn-to-Swim and Tadpoles levels) conducted during January.
This summer season’s dates are:
- Term 4 2018 – Monday 15 October to Friday 21 December
- Christmas Recess: Saturday 22rd December 2018 ~ Tuesday 1st January 2019
- January Intensive Swim Lessons (mornings only) Wednesday 2 January ~ Friday 25 January (closed 26th January)
- Term 1 2019 – Tuesday 29 January ~ Saturday 13 April 2019
LEARN TO SWIM (3o minutes)
For preschool-aged children and older (4 years +) who are learning to swim. Progress is assured with a maximum of 3 students per teacher.
$260 per term, payable in advance.
Learn to swim: Fridays from 3.30pm; Saturdays from 8.30am
TADPOLES (30 minutes)
For children developing proficiency in all strokes. Students must be able to swim 25m freestyle and backstroke as they prepare for Mini-Squad. Class maximum of 10 students.
$155 per term (one day a week); $210 per term (two days a week), payable in advance.
Tadpoles: Monday – Friday: 3.30pm, 4.00pm, 4.30pm; Saturdays from 8.30am
MINI SQUAD (45 minutes)
For swimmers displaying proficiency in freestyle, backstroke & breaststroke, are capable of demonstrating basic drills and have sufficient technique and endurance to swim for 45 minutes. They will also start to learn butterfly. Class maximum of 20 students.
$210 per term (two days a week); $235 per term (three days a week), payable in advance.
Mini-Squad: Monday – Friday: 3.30 – 4.15pm, 4.15 – 5.00pm.
JUNIOR SQUAD (60 minutes)
For swimmers wishing to improve their endurance and who can swim for at least 60 minutes. Swimmers must display proficiency in all strokes.
$260 per term (payable in advance).
Junior Squads: Monday – Friday, 3.30 – 4.30pm, 4.00 – 5.00pm.
January 2019 Intensive Program
During January 2019, the Swim School will offer intensive lessons at the Learn-to-Swim and Tadpole levels on Monday to Friday morning. Lesson times are 8.30am, 9am, 9.30am, 10am.

Week 2: Monday 7th January – Friday 11th January (5 days); $85

ADULT SWIM SQUAD
Take your swimming to the next level with our adult swim squad. The sessions are designed for competent swimmers including triathletes, ocean swimmers, surf swimmers, still water masters competitors, open water swimmers or those looking for general fitness.
