Following a long and gruelling season (September 2022-April 2023) resulting in many stellar performances, a small contingent of Waverley’s finest young Track & Field prospects descended on Brisbane’s QSAC facility for the Australian Junior Championships.
All our boys represented their respective athletic clubs as part of the NSW team in outstanding fashion. It was a privilege to watch the next generation of talent be rewarded for all their hard work over the summer.
Below are the results from a busy four-day program. I would like to congratulate Alexander Bissell, Asher Thomasyu, Evan Rowbotham, Jack Richardson, Ricardo Zanapalis, Ryan McNamara, and also acknowledge Vaidas Levi who made the team, but was unable to compete due to injury.
