From the Head of Learning Support, David Parnell

The Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (AIME) Year 7 and 8 Program held at Sydney University provided a wonderful opportunity for First Nations Waverley students to link with boys and girls from a range of schools in a positive and fun learning environment.

The boys who participated are Darius Kidd, Dane Towns, Jeremy Herbert, Tremaine Simon, Isaiah Close-Brown and Kye Xeureb. The program focuses on helping these young men set themselves academic goals, developing a positive outlook and establishing and maintaining respectful relationships. All the boys involved represented the College well.  Through enthusiastic participation in activities, they made the most of the opportunity to develop networks with boys from other schools and university mentors.
