Combined Band of 78 Musicians Delivers an Unforgettable Performance

Last Thursday, The Cliff Goodchild Concert Band and The Cameraygal Wind Symphony took to the stage to deliver an unforgettable performance in our PAC. The concert culminated in an impressive orchestral arrangement of Giuseppe Verdi’s ‘Dies Irae’ from Requiem, featuring 78 musicians from both bands.

Thank you to the Music Supporters’ Group parents/carers. We would especially like to thank Naomi and Greg Isaac, Joe Rede, Christina Leonard and Karen Birrell, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes in preparing food and beverages for the performers and guests. Thank you to Angus McPherson for the wonderful photos and Bishoy Wasef for audio and lighting technical support.

The concert was a testament to the talent and dedication of the young musicians, along with our Head of Bands, Mr Dan Williams. It also highlighted the importance of music education and the power of music to bring people together.

Congratulations to all involved for putting on a spectacular performance.
