The Waterford Concert Band was awarded Gold for their performance in the 56th Annual NSW School Band Festival held at Sir John Clancy Auditorium, UNSW on Sunday 27 August.
The young band had to present a hymn or slow melody, with at least one piece by an Australian composer and one of their own choice. The boys were excited to be at the university and playing for such an appreciative audience.
