On Sunday, 11 August a team of 250 Athletes comprised of students, teachers, family members and friends, represented Waverley College in the annual running of the City to Surf.
The Waverley College Team adopted the name ‘Waverley College for Premmies’ and team members ran in support of the charity, Running for Premature Babies.
This charity was founded by Waverley College mum Sophie Smith, and this year marked the 18th Birthday of her triplets Henry, Jasper and Evan who were born prematurely and did not survive.
In remarkable news, the team raised an incredible $30,000 that will go towards a new Neonatal and Paediatric Ambulance for NSW/ACT.
