The 2021 Da Vinci Decathlon will take place from 4-5 May for students in Years 7-11. The competition comprises teams of eight completing a variety of highly-academic tasks ranging from code-breaking, creative producers and ideation to cartography, engineering and art/poetry. Students work collaboratively on challenges throughout the day based on their areas of interest and/or subject strengths. The competition itself is designed to ‘stretch brains’ and challenge students to go beyond the curriculum to complete tasks.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the competition will be run internally at Waverley College instead of at Knox Grammar School.
Should your son be interested in participating, please email Ms Boyce, Academic Enrichment Coordinator, sboyce@waverley.nsw.edu.au for an expression of interest form before Tuesday 27 April, as spaces are limited.
