From the Development and Fundraising Manager, Rebecca Curran
There is much happening in 2017 and definitely more opportunities for the Waverley College community to connect with each other.
Waverley College Parents’ Association Welcome Cocktails
The Waverley College Parents’ Association Welcome Cocktails was well attended and I would like to thank Greg Bodkin, Kathy Davies, Tina Fragias, Michael Jaeger, Hayley O’Sullivan and Linda McGuiggan for all their efforts in putting together a fantastic event.
We were lucky to have an impromptu performance from professional singer and Year 7 parent, Cristina Capponi which was very well received.
Based on the feedback, the gym was a spectacular setting for the evening and we are looking forward to many more events in this space.
Thank you to all those parents who approached me about helping out with our major fundraiser for the year, The Waverley College Blue & Gold Ball. If anyone else is interested please contact me on rcurran@waverley.nsw.edu.au or 9369 0753. We will be getting together soon to brainstorm so watch this space!
