CAS Round 8 v Barker
Welcome back to term 3 and Round 8 of the CAS competition. This weekend the Opens, Year 10s and Year 7s will be travelling to Barker. With training commencing back the first week, all teams should be prepared for the game and I would like to wish all teams luck for this weekend. Please remember that players are to be at the venue 30 minutes prior to kick off. Please also ensure that correct uniform is worn to and from games. This includes the Waverley tracksuit if it is cold.
1st XI vs The Scots College
During the holiday the 1st XI competed against The Scots College on the last Friday of the school holidays. The game saw players from the 1st and 2nd XI compete in a friendly match to both practice skills before the break was over and the CAS season resumed. Waverley played very well on the day and came out with a 5-2 victory with goal scorers Jack Hardwicke-Owen (2), Dom Abruzzese (2), and Zac Conacher-Smith (1).
Save the Date
The Football Presentation Night will be on again this year for all players and families to attend. It will be held on Saturday 5 August in the Performing Arts Centre. Event details and ticketing will be released as soon as possible.
