Best of luck to all our Waverley teams for a successful and enjoyable end to the Senior School teams, while Junior School boys have a further round next week. I thank all our boys for their enthusiasm and contribution towards their side this summer, and a strong and supportive culture has been a significant feature.

Please ensure with games at Knox that families allow plenty of time to get to the venues. Everyone should be there 30 minutes prior to the start time for their warm-up.

We especially wish all of our Year 12 boys across the 1sts, 2nds and 3rds all the best in their final match, and sincerely thank them for a wonderful attitude and contribution over many years. May your cricket friendships and memories last a lifetime!

Presentation Evening this Saturday – 7pm

The Cricket Presentation Evening is going to be a twilight Sausage Sizzle with plenty of games, trivia and cricket awards for every team from both our Junior and Senior Schools. The evening commences at 7pm on Saturday 11 March in the Performing Arts Centre, and all students and families are warmly invited by the Cricket Supporter’s Group.

Please see the flyer and link included in this bulletin for details, with tickets $10 per person and able to be purchased via a link in the Events section of the Waverley College Website or by clicking HERE.  This will be a fantastic way to celebrate the achievements and friendships from the season, and there is a MONSTER RAFFLE to be drawn on the night, with an array of fantastic prizes.

Guest speaker for the evening will be Year 12 student, Jason Sangha, who will talk about his professional cricketing experiences over the last year, and the tips he has picked up from some of the International stars of cricket.

Best of luck for a great final week.
