Massimo and his Iron Man artwork

It was announced this week that Year 8 student Massimo Di Napoli has been awarded 1st place in the ‘2017 Australian Children Art Society Art Prize’.
JCW Art Studio is an organisation that works with students who are gifted and talented in the painting medium. Massimo entered his Iron Man Painting from his Term 1 Pop Art project into the competition.
The Art Department and I are very proud of Massimo and all the effort he put into creating such a highly sophisticated and engaging artwork.
Massimo will be attending the Supanova Comic Hero Convention in Adelaide later in the term to meet with the legendary American Marvel Comics writer/ film-producer, Stan Lee.
