Matthew Coorey Band
The Matthew Coorey Concert Band is one of the performing ensembles of the Waverley College Band Program. The Band Program houses four bands including a jazz band, a number of chamber groups and the Brass Ensemble, who serve at Masses and important events in the school calendar.
Rehearsals for the Matthew Coorey Concert Band take place every Thursday after school in the Recital Room – 3:30pm start. The rehearsal will conclude at 5:00 pm.
All students in Year 7 and 8 are welcome to join the Matthew Coorey Band. Any student who plays a wind, brass, percussion or keyboard is welcome. New students willing to learn a band instrument, in order to join this ensemble, should contact the Music Faculty. Should a student have a sport clash please see Mr Blenkinsopp.
Choir
The College Choir meets on a Monday morning from 7.30am in the Recital Room. New members welcome.
