Led Zeppelin Medley

Congratulations to Dominic Augoustis (Guitar), Ryan Bakels (Drums) and Luca Galeazzi (Bass Guitar) on their performance at the assembly last Thursday where they played a medley of songs by Led Zeppelin.  The quality of their performance was exceptional.

 

Year 12 Excursion Encore Concert

Encore is a joint venture between the Board of Studies Teaching Educational Standards and the NSW Department of Education, where outstanding performers and composers from last year’s Higher School Certificate are showcased in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House. Year 11 and 12 Elective Music students attended this event which featured twenty one performers and composers.

George Rummery Scholarship

George William Rummery was a student at Waverley whose life ended in tragic circumstances in 1982. At the time he was enrolled as a student in Year 8. George showed great interest in music and hence his family have bestowed on the College a Music Scholarship in his memory. Applications are open for the 2017 scholarship.

Applications close on Friday 31 March.
