Over the past 10 years, AWS has assisted more than 100 apprentices and trainees qualify in their chosen field, delivering quality outcomes for our business to support the Navy, to keep Australia safe.
Next year, we have positions available at Garden Island. AWS plays a critical role at Garden Island, managing the Captain Cook Graving Dock and providing critical ship repair, maintenance and engineering services to the Royal Australian Navy.

The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) comes to students in 2022 with the ADFA Open Day! This year they’ll have the opportunity to attend the Canberra or virtual event.

St Andrew’s College is one of six university colleges located within the University of Sydney. It has a deep connection to the Scottish Enlightenment. A welcoming and inclusive community, it’s a place to live on campus while studying at the University of Sydney or another local university. St Andrew’s is home to around 400 students (50:50 male/female), more than half of whom come from rural, regional or remote Australia.
St Andrew’s offers a number of means-tested scholarships, available to both new and continuing students, to assist those experiencing financial hardship.
These include Creative Arts / Public Speaking Scholarships, Sporting Scholarships, Indigenous Scholarships, to name just a few. The St Andrew’s Scholars Program provides full fee relief and is awarded for the entire duration of the student’s undergraduate degree.
