As the Term and College year are now officially finished and with some students having been away over the last couple of weeks, the Book Hire Room will be open 8am-4pm, as well as a crate placed at the Senior School Reception from Monday, 5 December until Wednesday, 7 December for any outstanding textbooks that need to be returned.

Thank you so much for all your help and wishing everyone happy holidays!

Attention Year 12 Students

Congratulations on nearing the end of your secondary school life! Please consider donating your uniforms to the Secondhand Clothing Pool – there is a blue donation bin in the Senior School Reception.

This provides someone else with the opportunity to purchase a secondhand uniform well below the new price, and at the same time, raising funds for the College through the Parents’ Association.

$30 Buy Back Scheme – Blazer and All Weather Jackets

The Secondhand Clothing Pool will gladly accept the donation of all clean and wearable current uniform items for resale. There is a $30 ‘buy back scheme’ for the donation of Blazers and All Weather Jackets in excellent condition.

If leaving in the Clothing Pool bin in Reception, please include your name and number inside the bag, to arrange the ‘buy-back-scheme.’

Email us for more information or visit us on Monday mornings or Wednesday afternoons.

For more information, please email clothingpool@waverley.nsw.edu.au

New Opening Hours

In Term 4, we will be open Mondays 8:30-9:30am and Wednesdays 2:30-3:30pm.

In 2022, Year 12 MacBooks will be at the end of lease. Parents have been emailed with all the information needed to choose whether they wish to purchase and retain their son’s laptop, or return the unit.

The email also contains all the payment options for those purchasing. The nomination needs to be submitted by Friday, 28 October. If no nomination is received by this date, it will be assumed that the unit is being returned.

iAssist will release devices that have been purchased, and collect units that are being returned, once a student has completed his final HSC exam.

If you have not received either of these emails, please contact iAssist who can re-issue.

iAssist are available Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm. Email: iAssist@waverley.nsw.edu.au

Dear Year 12 Parents, Carers and Students

Please read below the following information regarding the upcoming HSC Examinations.

All students are to be onsite in the Centenary Quad for the first exam – English Paper 1 – on Wednesday, 12 October by 9:20am at the latest.

We will meet for all other examinations (except Music I and II which are in the PAC) in the Centenary Quad, 30 minutes prior to the time published in the NESA HSC Exam timetable

HSC Examinations Key Points and Processes

  1. Students were issued with a copy of the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Rules and Regulations instructions at the start of Year 12. It is each student’s responsibility to comply with these regulations and attend his examinations on the correct date and time.
  2. Misreading the timetable is not a ground for misadventure.
  3. The 2022 HSC Examination timetable is in this link and the examinations begin with English Advanced and Standard Paper 1 at 9:50am on Wednesday, 12 October.  Make sure you read the special equipment list carefully on P.2 for each of your applicable subjects.
  4. Students are to use black pens only during the exams. Blue pens are not permitted.
  5. Students should be in attendance at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time in full College Uniform (including the College Jersey). College rules regarding shaving, hairstyles etc… apply throughout the examination period.
  6. Students must bring their ID cards. All mobile phones and notes must be put away in lockers – they cannot be taken into the examination room.
  7. The College understands that NESA permits students to leave the examination room prior to the scheduled finishing time. It is an expectation of the College that students should use all available time to complete each examination to the best of their ability. Any student leaving an examination prior to the finishing time must sign out at the Well Being Centre. The College does not accept any responsibility incurred from a student’s early departure.
  8. Any students who are absent or running late due to unforeseen circumstances, must notify Ms Kath Knowles as soon as possible on 9369 0651 Email: kknowles@waverley.nsw.edu.au or Ms Lara Ozdirik on 9369 0629 Email: lozdirik@waverley.nsw.edu.au

Wishing you all the best for the upcoming examination period.

Kind regards,

Ms Watson
