As part of the Teacher Reading Aloud Program, three teachers shared their love of reading with our Year 8 boys. Blake Thorn from Year 12 also performed his Drama individual piece entitled “Doing it for the Penguins”
This week’s choices ranged from the comedic with Roald Dahl’s quirky adaptation of Cinderella (Cindy) from Revolting Rhymes; a humorous, yet comforting, tale of a Year 7 student’s first day in a new selective school (Super Con-nerd from the ever popular Oliver Phommavanh); and an enlightening Dreamtime story about the origins of the kookaburra.
