From TAS Teacher, Stephanie Boyce
From 24 to 28 July, both Year 11 VET Hospitality and Construction classes completed their first Work placements as part of their VET Qualifications. All boys were placed into various venues and establishments where they undertake work experience in a kitchen or construction site. It allows students to develop their competency skills in a realistic industry environment as they participate in varying types of work activities related to their studies.
Student feedback was incredibly positive and they all said it was an amazing week of hard work and invaluable experience. The boys all represented the College to a high standard and many workplaces commended them on their work ethic and industry standard abilities.
Well done Year 11!
