Students from the College attended sessions on Monday and Tuesday.
Monday’s session saw the boys inspired by Shakespearean expert James Shapiro, Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. His presentation was titled: Shakespeare: in his world and ours.
On Tuesday students attended four sessions. The mix of local and international (UK and US) young adult writers was enthralling. Tuesday’s authors were Sarah Crossan (UK), Gabrielle Williams, Yassmin Abdel- Magied and Jennifer Niven.
The students all indicated that they will make more time to read after witnessing the power of literature.
The books are all available in the library.
