We look forward to farewelling our Year 12s during their final week at the College. As we celebrate this important time, please remember that all College rules remain in place. Attendance is expected at all events, and we kindly ask students to arrive on time, show respect, and wear the appropriate attire for each occasion.
Tuesday, 17 September – Last Day of Classes
- Last Day of Classes for Year 12 – Periods 1 – 4
- Prefects Vs St Clare’s Netball Game – 1:30pm – 2:30pm at St Clares.
Wednesday, 18 September – OBU Breakfast and Reflection Day
- OBU Breakfast, 8:45am-9:30am in Braidwood
- Year 12 Reflection Day – Students will participate in a Reflection Day and lunch with their Houses. They may wear their PE uniforms on the day.
Thursday, 19 September
- College Assembly, Years 5-12, Presentation of the Track & Field Team, Gym, 8:45am-9:30am
- Brent Sanders Speaker, Year 12, 9:30am-11:30am. A presentation by Brent Sanders (Winning Edge Strategies). He will deliver his Life Choices for Young Men Program to Year 12 with particular emphasis on their legal status change with turning 18 and leaving school. Brent has presented to over 850,000 people over his 20 years of delivering programs to students. The program covers critical issues such as peer pressure, decision making, self-discipline, respect, motivation and the three essential keys:
- Taking responsibility for yourself and your actions
- Life is all about choice
- The importance of respect and self-discipline.
