University of Tasmania Taster Days in Sydney

We are opening the doors to our Sydney campuses in Rozelle and Darlinghurst with a series of hands-on workshops so you can experience what it will be like to study Nursing or Paramedic Practice at the University of Tasmania.

We will also have information sessions and expert advice available so you can learn more about a career in health.

Law Admission Test

The LAT is a requirement for domestic applicants who wish to study an Undergraduate Law Dual Degree program at UNSW.

The LAT 2017 will be held on Tuesday 26 September 2017.

Registrations for the LAT 2017 are now open and will close at 5:00pm AEST on Friday 11 August 2017. Late registrations will be accepted from 5:00pm AEST on Friday 11 August 2017 until 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday 6 September 2017. A late registration fee will apply.

Sydney Scholars Awards Open August 1

The Sydney Scholars Awards offers Year 12 students commencing their studies in 2018 the opportunity to apply for scholarships ranging from $6,000 to $10,000 per year in value and awarded in duration from one year, up to 5 years (including combined undergraduate degrees). Must be for study at the University of Sydney.

UNSW Mining Summer School 2018

17 – 19 January @ UNSW campus and NSW mine sites. 3-day residential camp for students currently in year 10 and 11.Start at the UNSW campus in Sydney to experience uni life, lectures and labs. Try out the 3D virtual reality mine simulator and VR headsets.  Then travel for 2 nights to visit underground and surface mines, learn how coal and minerals are extracted and processed, view mine rehabilitation sites. Learn about study, careers and opportunities in the Australian mining industry from professionals, current students and recent graduates. Changes to Police Officer Recruitment Process

The main changes to the recruitment process include no minimum academic requirement, introduction of a University Certificate in Workforce Essentials, the entrance exam is now known as the Police Entrance Exam, copies of transcripts and other mandatory documents need to be certified by a Justice of the Peace, online application via JobsNSW and a case office will contact applicants once applications are received.
