From the Senior Library
On Thursday 25 May the Library Team hosted Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea for staff at the Senior campus and the Year 12 students. The event was very successful due to the help of many cooks who donated their favourite treats, as well as our Hospitality boys and the Canteen workers.
As the recess bell rang the Library soon filled with teachers and students mingling together enjoying this social occasion in support of the Cancer Council.
On Friday the Library team hosted a similar event for the Junior School staff. Thanks to Audrey Coupe, the Junior School Canteen workers, Katrina King and Michelle Rollins who helped to make this a successful event.
The final amount raised was $2018.25 which in a small way will help the Cancer Council’s vital research, prevention and support service programmes.
