From the Director of the Junior School, Anthony Banboukjian
Prayer of the Week
This Sunday marks the beginning of Advent, when the Church prepares for the coming of Jesus. It is a time to invite Jesus to be more and more a part of our lives. With Jesus, we can make sense of the world and live good lives, helping to show his love for all people.
A Blessing for God’s People
Creator God, Teach us to work for the good of all your peoples; to fight against prejudice and hatred in our hearts; to dream and to struggle for our vision of a fair Australia.
You have given us many good things: A spacious country with clear skies and clean air, freedom to be educated, work and play. You give us freedom to choose between good and evil, between giving and taking. You offer us the challenge of peace and reconciliation.
Bless your people with the courage to be Christians.
We make this prayer in the name of Jesus your son.
Amen.
