It is essential to subscribe to the Waverley app, because the College uses the app as its central portal to communicate with parents/carers. We send regular updates through the app.
The username you need for the Parent Lounge within the app is your Family ID, the same one that you use to access the Parent Lounge online, where you book Parent/Teacher interviews and obtain school reports.
You can download the app by searching ‘Waverley College’ in the App Store or via Google Play. Please be sure to check your subscriptions/Year Groups are correct for 2024. This can be done by clicking Settings > Subscriptions > Tags and searching all groups that are relevant for your family in 2024.
Download the instructions HERE.
Important College notices, contacts calendar, Parent Lounge, co-curricular, absences, maps and links are also available via the Waverley College app.
Should you have any questions, suggestions about the user experience, or are having technical issues, please contact app@waverley.nsw.edu.au

Lunch is provided for all volunteers.
We greatly value the assistance of our volunteer workers as it allows us to be more efficient in our services for students and staff.

Having been primarily covered by Camille and Kirsten for the past few years, the Secondhand Clothing Pool has been getting busier and we are looking to start integrating regular volunteer workers in the roster to help run the store. This will initially cover holiday absences on Wednesdays in May/June 2024 but it’s with a view to expanding our opening hours and days in due course.
We are now looking for volunteers available during the current opening times (Monday 8:20am-9:30am and Wednesday 2:30-3:30pm). No prior experience necessary as training will be provided.
Please note that volunteers at Waverley College are required to hold a Working With Children Check (WWCC), which is free of charge to obtain for volunteer work HERE.
If you’re interested and available to help out, please email us at clothingpool@waverley.nsw.edu.au with your details including Waverley year level(s) and shift availability (weekly, fortnightly, Monday/Wednesday, etc).
Thank you to everyone who has been supporting the Secondhand Clothing Pool, both through donating uniforms for resale and through purchasing preloved uniforms, and by helping out ad hoc.
Let’s keep the cycle going!
Thank you to everyone who has supported the Secondhand Clothing Pool through donating their used uniforms for resale or through shopping with us.
All profits from sales benefit all students directly through projects funded by the Parents’ Association, as well as the Clothing Pool Legacy Fund which pays for a new uniform for students in need.
We are most grateful for all donations of clean and undamaged current uniform items, academic and sports, especially (but not limited to):
We also accept wearable
Please consider the condition of items before dropping them off: if you wouldn’t give it to a friend’s son to wear or are upgrading your son’s items because the old ones are too worn or ripped, please dispose of them in a sustainable way.
The Secondhand Clothing Pool sells quality used uniform items to continue supporting our Waverley community.
You will find us in the main building on Birrell Street. Enter via the Senior School campus reception, and take the lift to Level 3. The Secondhand Clothing Pool is next door to the Uniform Shop.
For more information on stock availability, please email the Secondhand Clothing Pool at clothingpool@waverley.nsw.edu.au or just pop in during our open times. No appointment necessary.
(02) 9369 0703 — feel free to leave a voicemail, and one of our volunteers will get back to you.

The Secondhand Clothing Pool is in desperate need of several items — which really means that fellow parents and carers are in need of those.
We are getting many enquiries for the following items with close to no stock available for sale:
There is a ‘buy back’ option, with $30 paid for blazers and All-weather jackets in great condition.
Please check your sons’ wardrobes for items that have been outgrown and can be passed on. The more we can sell, the more parents and carers are able to donate back what their sons have outgrown. Let’s get this cycle moving again!
All donations (not only the above specified items) are gratefully received, with profits from sales going straight back into the College to benefit all students via the Parents’ Association.
*These funds also enable the ‘Legacy Fund’ which pays for new uniform items for one or several students in need every year.
Donations can be left in the blue box to the left of the Senior School reception desk.
We thank you very much for your generosity!
