Just as popular as our ever-growing Fiction collection is the Senior Library’s Graphic Novel collection, which is made up of a wide variety of Graphic Novels, Comics and Manga. These provide the students with a variety of different reading styles to challenge the traditional western method. Focusing on a more visual means of telling the story they are a fantastic medium to encourage the students of Waverley to broaden their reading horizons.
Graphic novels provide the boys with a different style of reading, with styles ranging from popular superhero franchises, such as Batman and Ironman to mangas such as One-Punch Man, Naruto and Ghost in a Shell in the traditional eastern style, to graphic adaptations of poplar media including Doctor Who, The Simpsons, Star Wars and many more.
