Thank you for making the 2018 Blue & Gold Ball a great success
On Saturday 4 August, almost 700 parents and friends gathered in the Brother JP Lacey Gymnasium for the 68th Waverley College Blue & Gold Ball.
The ball – reinstated last year after a 40-year hiatus – has a long and proud history dating back to 1911, when a group of dedicated parents joined forces to raise funds to support the growth of a flourishing new school.
This year, thanks to our generous community, the Blue & Gold Ball raised just over $100,000, which all go towards building new learning and recreation spaces for our students.
We’d like to thank special guests including members of the Waverley College Board, the College Executive, Brother Brian Murphy, Peter Frost – who this year celebrates 50 years of teaching at Waverley – as well as representatives from the Parent Association and Old Boys Union.
