Year 12 Debating Team has a win
The Year 12 First Debating team won last Friday night against St. Aloysius’ College.
The topic was “That we should prohibit the wearing of religious clothing and accessories in public” and Waverley was on the negative side.
The team of Jackson Flynn, Angus Mullins and Stephen Croft put together an excellent case and rebuttal and the adjudicators unanimously agreed Waverley put forward the best case and were the most convincing. Well done, gentlemen .
