Give a hospitalised child comfort and kindness at Easter
A message from Green House Parent Kate Grebert:
I am part of a fundraising group that every Easter, sells soft bunny toys that are then given to children in child protection units across Australia.
This year the bunnies will be given to children in the Northern Territory who are admitted to hospital with injuries from abuse or neglect. They provide a touch of comfort and kindness at a very dark, scary and lonely time for these children.
We’re hoping to raise $12,000 to support the children’s charity, Bravehearts. 100% of the money raised will go to supporting the vital work they do with children who have been affected by the crime of sexual assault.
This is our fourth year of running our Bonnie the Bunny campaign. We have given 1,200 Bonnies to children in need in NSW, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria and raised $50,000 for some of Australia’s most vulnerable children.

Our parents get a chance to join the World's Greatest Shave - be brave!
Waverley parent, Tony Mellis of Badlambs Barbers gave some of our students a great cut at our World’s Greatest Shave today. He’s let us know he and his staff will also be shaving to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation on Friday 16 March and Saturday 17 March from 4pm to 7pm at Bucket List, Bondi Beach. It’s a great opportunity for our parents to join in raising money to find a cure for blood cancer – so be brave and shave!
