Welcome to Nurrunga. Last Thursday, 30th May, Waverley College invited the First Nation's students from Christian Brothers College, Lewisham and St Ignatius' College Riverview to come and present to us. The 2019 theme for Reconciliation week was - Grounded in Truth, Walk together with Courage. The boys also participated in the National Simultaneous Storytime and Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. You can read more about their experiences below. A reminder that the Waverley College Annual Giving Appeal is now underway. Those who contribute to the 2019 Appeal will play an important role in shaping the future of Waverley College and the experiences available to our students. As tax time approaches, this is the perfect time to make a donation.
The Waverley College senior canteen is seeking volunteers, we are open every day of the school year for breakfast, recess and lunch. It provides a wide variety of healthy meals and snacks at affordable prices for both boys and staff.
We welcome all members of the Waverley College community – mums, dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles to join our team of volunteers. Your help and support at the canteen are greatly appreciated, whether it is once a week, month or even once a term. Starting time for volunteers is 9.30am and finishing around 1.45pm and of course, this will include a yummy lunch.
We need your assistance so if you would like to volunteer please click here.
For extra convenience, you can also book to volunteer through the Skoolbag app under the Canteen tab on the main page!
Thank you again for all your help and support.
Kind regards

The Campus Team are seeking some casual caretakers to join our team. The casual caretakers are used on an ad-hoc basis to help set up school spaces for events. The ideal candidate would live close to Waverley and would be an ex-Year 12 student who is happy to work out of hours at short notice. If this sounds like you and you are interested or if you have any questions please send an email to dirict@waverley.nsw.edu.au

On the 5th June work will commence on the Lower Rec rejuvenation works. The construction is expected to run for 16 weeks. Once complete the project will provide two additional all-weather tennis courts, 18 new car parking spaces at the rear of the Performing Arts Centre and we will also extend the backcourts of the existing tennis courts. There will be some disruption to student movement at the lower part of the school and the existing courts will be out of bounds whilst the fencing and courts are extended.
We would like to acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora nation who are the traditional Custodians of the land on which Waverley College is located. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We are committed to honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ unique cultural and spiritual connections to the land, waters, seas and sky and their rich contribution to society.
