Congratulations to James Peate (Year 11) for representing Waverley College in the 2024 Lawrence Campbell Oratory Competition. James had 15 minutes to compose an eight-minute speech and deliver it in front of a panel of judges and spectators. The focus of James’ speech was survivorship bias, the nature of objective truth and interpretations of history.
